Hodge Diesel and Auto Repair was recommended to me as a great place to take my nearly 60 year old Corvette for adjustments and improvements to the engine, drive train, and suspension. I have tried other shops, spent big dollars, and never seemed to get the results I asked for, or was promised. It was very different at Hodge. They really listened to what I wanted and what needed to be "fine tuned". The staff was pleasant, knowledgeable, and kept me informed. They didn't settle for "close enough" and "out the door" on the work I asked for. If your vehicle is a Diesel or gasoline, and you want great service at a fair price with no "BS", I would highly recommend Hodge Repair for your repairs and routine service. I’ve taken my trucks here for years. Recently, they have lost most of their employees. 8000 miles ago, they charged me $12,000 to do my upper oil pan on my F250. With a turbo replacement. I went to another shop to have a CCV reroute done. Something really simple, and the guy I went to, went to school with Hodge. Flash forward to today, the truck is at the mechanic again, getting an upper oil pan done, because the last repair was done, half way basically. When I brought this up to Hodge, his answer was it’s been too long, he didn’t care about the truck only having a few thousand miles since then, and then proceeded to try and blame the other mechanic. I told him I would be writing a review, and his answer was to make sure that I let everyone know, that it had been some time since he did the work. Regardless. An upper oil pan is supposed to last hundreds of thousands of miles. Not fall apart in 8000 miles after sitting in the temp controlled garage. Not to mention, because he’s fired. Everybody, his labor rate has increased tremendously. We were told our car had “catastrophic engine failure” by a family mechanic and we thought we were going to spend thousands to fix it. We got recommended for Hodges, and took it in. They finished it in a day and it was only a head gasket leak that only costed low 500’s. Extremely nice people and efficient.

Great group of guys. Dealerships these days have become largely incompetent and volume driven. A lot is lost in communication by unqualified service consultants that know nothing about vehicles. This is where Hodge shines. When you call you get someone who actually knows what they are talking about and knows it well. I trust them to maintain and repair my truck that has over 400,000 miles. These guys are honest to their customers and will take care of you even if you know nothing about cars. Dont go to the stealerships, take it to Hodge and save yourself the headache.

Great family owned business who will take good care of you from booking the appointment to the time you walk out after your service has been completed. The owners know their stuff when it comes to automotive services and offer great prices. I will always recommend them for any automotive services.
